Carl's Wheel Blowout

t's true, it can happen with perfectly good new wheels too.

t happened while he was leading a Sunday morning advanced skate. It was a hot humid day, and apparently the plastic just melted off of the core.

arl's wheels were completely new, he had just put them on specifically for the skate. They were 80mm 82A Hyper Dubbs. The skate life for them turned out to be less than two hours total.
